1. How did Modern Toss start out?
Yes, but we also like to soak up stuff that goes on around us, listening to people talking on buses, trains and in supermarkets, we see it as our duty to immortalise it in comics and fridge magnets.
3. Modern Toss has been around in one form or another since the 1990s - what is it about your style of humor that has aged so well?
4. How do you find working as a pair? Does collaboration come naturally to you?
5. Modern Toss has makes weekly contributions to a number of British newspapers. Do you often look to current events for inspiration?
We work from life and what happens to be around us, it could be a massive cultural shift or something like national potato day, we then turn that into a cartoon with two people arguing about it.
Jon Link, co-creator of Modern Toss, will be speaking at Phoenix Art Space on 27 November, as part of our Festival of Printmaking. Find out more.
