Explore weaving, basketry and netting techniques through fun activities. Using a variety of materials, willow, paper and string, we will learn how these materials can be manipulated, joined and put under tension to become useful and fun objects.
These objects will exist as individual items but can also become the elements that make up larger ones. We will make installations that will grow and develop throughout the day as more and more elements are added.
Develop your skills, experience the process of transformation from materials to objects, and enjoy working together to fill the space.
The workshop will be run by Sarah and Ruth.
