Phoenix Art Space
Thursday 30 Jan
10.30 - 17.00
A workshop exploring the role podcasts and bespoke audio content can play for art institutions.
Over the course of the day, participants will be guided through the landscape of arts radio and podcast. The workshop will examine the ways to capture the editorial voice and curatorial approach of an arts institution, and include a developmental session expanding attendees' ideas for a distinctive podcast series. This workshop will be led by Reduced Listening, an audio production company specialising in arts and culture programmes including The Serpentine Podcast and Late Junction on BBC Radio 3. Participants will have the option of a follow-up session with Reduced Listening six months after the original workshop.
This workshop and the follow-up are free of charge. If you would like to attend please send a maximum of 100 words to firstname.lastname@example.org describing why the workshop would be of use to you and/or your organisation.
The workshop is delivered in collaboration with The Serpentine Galleries' R&D Platform and Phoenix Art Space.
