Working with a life model you will explore line, tone, texture, scale and composition, and the appropriate use of materials.
Suitable for all levels including beginners.
This course will look at life drawing using a range of dry and wet mediums. You will be encouraged to experiment and develop your approach to the figure using acrylic, oil, ink, charcoal, graphite, watercolour and pastel. Through a range of exercises that relate to the chosen media and with an emphasis on observation of the model we will explore line, tone, texture, scale and composition.
Things you need
Some paper and a limited range of basic materials e.g. pencils, graphite and ink will be provided to enable you to try out new media. However, you will be expected to bring your own specific choice of materials such as inks, watercolours, acrylics, pastels and oils as indicated prior to each session.
