The gallery relaunches in 2019 with new heating, lighting and improved facilities.
From 19 January 2019 the gallery reopens with a new exhibition and a range of new and upgraded facilities. Thanks to a grant from Arts Council England, Brighton & Hove Council and Chalk Cliff Trust, the following improvements will enable us to offer a welcoming, comfortable, flexible space for presenting a range of diverse and stimulating arts exhibitions and events.
- New heating/cooling system
- New LED track lighting
- Blackout and light filtering blinds
- Refurbished floor and walls
- Improved maintenance and cleaning facilities
The gallery is set in a centrally located, highly visible and accessible space in a lively building dedicated to the visual arts. For further information on exhibiting at Phoenix, please click here.
We will continue to post updates on the refurbishment and details of forthcoming exhibitions on this site -- please check back for details.
