Operation Mindfuck 2018 - The Subtle Art of De-Programming - new work from the Prestonville Arts Lab
An evening of presentations, performances, works and discussions which explore art as idealogical force in the current landscape. In who’s interest is it for me to feel misplaced fear, anger and confusion and what kind of work can transform those feelings so as to scupper those interests? From the Arts Lab that brought you The New Sublime, The Brexorcist, Slab Magazine and The Private Sector and including work from new collaborations in the expanding network.
In the spirit of the creative happenings of the sixties, Brighton Arts Lab is a new bi-monthly event, serving up performances, spoken word, workshops, film and exhibitions. Each event is themed around different aspects of creativity.
The Lab aims to be inclusive, offering opportunities for local artists and performers to collaborate through our events, and for audiences to be entertained, stimulated and challenged.
Please get in touch via our Facebook Page to suggest future themes and to let us know if you have ideas for how you might like to contribute to one of our events.
Brighton Arts Lab is in partnership with Phoenix Brighton and is curated by Catalyst Club host, author and podcaster, David Bramwell.
