Working with clay, you will learn how to translate botanical forms into an expressive, abstract ceramic sculpture. You will learn how to handle clay and use it to reflect nature in an expressive way. Different types of flora, from pine cones to seasonal flowers, exotic and native fruits will be used as inspiration. This is not a figurative course, instead you will be encouraged to use your imagination to create something abstract yet inspired by nature.
Suitable for all levels including beginners.
Being open to creativity is all you need as this course will provide you with the ability to express yourself and imaginatively experiment with clay. By the end of the course you will have a unique, creative ceramic piece or sculpture to take home.
