Life Drawing Weekend
Working directly from the model and with a focus on experimentation we will explore ways of representing the human form through a series of short and sustained poses.
Through demonstrations of techniques and ideas using a mixture of traditional and experimental approaches to materials and processes we will focus on developing observational skills, understanding of proportion and perspective, forma and tone.
This course is suitable for all levels.
Whilst limited materials will be provided, to enable you to try other media it is suggested that you bring drawing or painting materials that you would like to work with e.g. pencils, graphite, ink, chalk, watercolours, acrylic and oil paint.
Carolyn has a BA Hons in Fine Art and MA in painting from Central Saint Martins School of Art. Carolyn has a broad experience in the teaching of art and design across both HE and FE sectors including ten years at Chelsea College of Art. Carolyn has exhibited in a number of galleries in both group and solo shows.
