Focusing on matters that are important to you, be they political, personal or both, you will be guided through drawing, planning, and research tasks towards creating a piece of graphic reportage. We will take inspiration from artists such as Joe Sacco. You will work together to produce a graphic newspaper of stories.

Basic materials including a sketchbook will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring additional art materials if they wish.
Ottilie graduated from Glasgow School of Art and gained an MA RCA in illustration in 1994. She has taught drawing in various forms to adults and children for many years in different places including Evolution Arts, Glasgow School of Art and Phoenix Brighton. She enjoys creating comics about her every day life, and her work is included in “Brighton-The Graphic Novel”. Ottilie’s first graphic novel “Talking to Gina” was published by Myriad Editions in September 2017.
