Virtual Family Fun: Instagram Live (Session 2)

About the Event
Join studio artist Jenny Staff for the second in our series of Virtual Family Fun workshops on Instagram Live. This workshop took place on Saturday 20 March, but you can now watch the video back below and create alongside Jenny in your own time. We celebrate the first day of spring by showing you how to create your own light show inspired by artists who play with light. You will build a shadow studio / projection box using old cardboard boxes and torches or other light sources that you have at home. During the workshop Jenny will help you to explore light and dark and play with shadow and colour to create an evocative, miniature environment.
Our Family Fun workshops usually take place every month at Phoenix Art Space, they are free, drop in sessions suitable for families with children aged 5-14yrs. This series of Virtual Family Fun workshops will be broadcast monthly while our building is closed. If you miss the live workshop you can watch a recording later on the families page of our website.
