Object Q / The Pursuit of Happiness

This collaborative project brings together two artists exploring concepts of queer materiality through contrasting aesthetic approaches. The collaboration will culminate in two exhibitions occurring concurrently: Object Q / The Pursuit of Happiness at Gallery DODO in Brighton, and Many Splendored Things at Abingdon Studios in Blackpool. 

Object Q / The Pursuit of Happiness is minimal in its approach, consisting of just one example of each of the artist’s work, as referenced in the title. This austere installation was planned entirely off-site and is based around the theme ‘queer verticality’.

This exhibition will be open from 29 May – 28 June. Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 11.00 – 15.00. Visitors must pre-book a free, timed slot in advance of their visit. 20 min slots, 3 people max. BOOK HERE
