FACADE SCHEME

In terms of the front of the building we are currently looking at different colour treatments of which this is an example produced by our architects. The new design references the adjoining regency architecture and has steel ribbons descending the building which also provide horizontal shading fins at the back and vertical shading fins at the front as well as offering opportunities to light the building at night.

Rather remarkably the building is passed by 30 million cars a year. So we feel the redevelopment is a real opportunity for the building to welcome people to Brighton and to clearly communicate all the creative activity which goes on inside it.
