The gallery will be closed to the public for the next several months as we prepare and undertake refurbishment work on the gallery and front entrance to the building. We will relaunch at the beginning of 2016 with a special event and a new programme of curated exhibitions, including ‘The New Immortals’ curated by Judith Alder, and ‘Technology and the Evolution of the Artist’s Book’ curated by Maddy Rosenberg. WATCH THIS SPACE — Details of these exhibitions and additional events in 2016 will appear here shortly.

Phoenix Brighton has received funding from Arts Council England, Brighton & Hove City Council, The Foyle Foundation, and the Chalk Cliff Trust for the first phase of a ground refurbishment programme. The work will include new lighting, heating and ventilation for the gallery, and a new, welcoming front entrance.
