Fine Art Course Daytime or Evening
with Rachel Cohen and Dinah Kelly
A ten-week course introducing a range of fine art media and techniques, with an ongoing focus on drawing. Suitable for all levels, including beginners and is good preparation for a foundation course.
We use observational drawing as a starting point for work in a range of media including: painting, sculpture, printmaking and mixed media.
Some materials are included and a materials list is provided at the first session. Students may choose either the daytime or evening session.
Rachel Cohen studied Art History at Sussex University and Fine Art at Brighton. She works with drawing and painting, photography, animation and site-specific installation. She organises workshops and courses and residencies involving public participation. Local projects include Bookmarks at Jubilee Library, and Chinese Whispers, a drawing experiment in collaboration with scientists at The University of Sussex. www.rachelcohen.co.uk
