Little Pieces: A Return to Collage (FULL)
with Thea Willcocks
A one-day workshop which explores notions of fragmentation, memory and image through collage techniques, including masking, stitching, tracing, layering and cutting. Working from photographs, postcards, found imagery and text we will start to explore the connections between image, memory and identity. Please bring photographs, postcards, paper or card memorabilia to work from. A digital camera is useful but not necessary.
Thea Willcocks is a London based artist working with Drawing, Embroidery and Installation. She has a BA in Fine Art from Newcastle University and an MA in the Visual Language of Performance from Wimbledon College of Art.
