Vocal Improvisation/Sound Workshop

kassiazermonExperiment with your voice and develop improvisation skills as a part of a group ensemble. We will explore sound, texture and rhythm using simple, fun techniques. The course will conclude with the option of performing at St. Andrews Church in Brighton, using the space in unconventional ways.

Bunty (AKA Kassia Zermon) received her BA (hons) in Music and Visual art from The University of Brighton in 2005.She has since become a successful solo artist, performing improvised experimental vocal looping sets; creating music live using only one mic and fx pedals. Bunty is an experienced improviser having collaborated with Carnival collective, Vole, Lyrikool Lipz (midlands beatbox champion) to name a few. She curates multimedia events throughout the country as part of the Beatabet collective and most recently produced a vocal looping show conducting a choir, dancers, film, and audience participation in a church setting. http://www.myspace.com/buntylooping
