ABOUT

As part of the Undercurrents programme Kim Dawson (Brighton & Hove City Council’s Biodiversity Officer) and Sarah Dobson (The Living Coast Programme Manager) will be speaking about Brighton & Hove’s incredible biodiversity, including some of our key local species and what we can all do in our homes and gardens to support our local wildlife.

Our city and surrounding coast and Downs are globally designated as The Living Coast, a UNESCO World Biosphere region, recognised internationally for the importance of our natural environment and our communities’ efforts in living sustainably.  Hear more about why we are a Biosphere as well as an introduction to some of the exciting projects that are happening across our region to connect people & nature and conserve and enhance nature and wildlife.
